damp repairs & WATER INGRESS

Damp and/or water ingress is a common issue with caravans and motorhomes. Issues with water ingress can be prevented through the practice of regular maintenance and servicing, and this is the most cost effective method.

However, if do you notice a damp patch, staining or have any concerns please contact us and we can assess the problem and provide a quotation for rectification. As with any issue of this type, the quicker the issue is addressed the better. We offer solutions to address damp at any stage, whether it be just resealing a single rail, to the removal and replacement of damaged timbers and boards.

Had an accident or has severe weather caused damage to your caravan or motorhome? Need to make an insurance claim? We can help you manage the process of making a claim, from initial advice, to completing a comprehensive quotation for you. We can also arrange to have your caravan recovered if it is not safe to tow as a result of the accident and provide a storage solution for you until all repairs have been completed.

Service & maintenance

Regular servicing of your caravan or motorhome will pay off in the long run with greater reliability and improved resale value. It will also help to keep repair costs low by highlighting issues early.

There are safety and legal issues to consider too. Every vehicle is required by law to be in a condition where is does not cause danger to anyone. Some items you can easily check for yourself, such as tyres and lights, but the braking system and the electrical and gas items inside the habitation area are best left to experts if you are not to risk your safety or that of others.

As an Approved Workshop, the comprehensive service will check all of the chassis, water system, gas and electrics as well as receiving a full water ingress check to ensure any issues are identified early.

We offer a range of servicing packages, so please contact us to discuss your needs.

approved workshop

We are proud to be an Approved Workshop.

The Approved Workshop Scheme is a joint enterprise between the NCC (National Caravan Council), The Caravan and Motorhome Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Originating on the 1st January 1978, and the only scheme to be supported by all of the major UK manufacturers, AWS is now the UK's largest group of independently assessed workshops and is seen as the benchmark for motorhome and touring caravan servicing in the UK.

Approved Workshops are run by fully qualified caravan and motorhome servicing professionals.

Using an Approved Workshop gives you peace of mind that the technician working on your tourer or motorhome is qualified to the required standards.

Along with the requirements for technicians, each workshop must also meet high standards of competency (the formal qualifications of the technician) and comply with an industry Code of Practice.
